IDLookup
What it does:
IDLookup takes a list of people and attempts to look them up in The Raiser's Edge. You can map various criteria sets for looking up. The plug-in will try to match against each criteria set until it finds either a unique match or the match with the fewest multiples.
Examples:
Avoid creating duplicates when importing data, constantly check new user accounts that might be created via a website and take advantage of really powerful search and filtering functionality.

Just as with the RE import module you can map your file to the plug-in's standard naming convention and save this as a template for future use.
The input and output can be in either Excel or CSV format. The output will give the number of matches found in RE, the unique constituent id and input id or a list of multiple constituent and input ids.
From version 2, IDLookup has been completely rewritten to include criteria sets and a more powerful output format for multiples. IDLookup has also been customized depending on where you are in the world.
You can match on different numbers of characters or using Soundex and you can filter your results by a query of constituents so they will only appear in the match if they are also in the query.
Recent Updates:
Here we've made some subtle tweaks, as suggested by our users to ensure certainty when looking up users in RE. We have added address line blank equivalents to the look-up criteria, and added the Organisation name to the output file.
