Lookup by System Id is a simple plugin that allows the user to provide a file of constituent system ids and lookup the corresponding constituent and import id which it appends to a copy of the input file. This was developed in response to a question on Blackbus. I hope it was of use!
Download the zip file and unzip the contents to a known location. Run the Setup.exe file to install the program.
To uninstall this plugin go to the Control Panel, Add and Remove Programs and select the plugin.
The plugin can be found in the plugins section of The Raiser's Edge. Select an exiting import file (Excel, CSV or tab delimited) with a column of constituent system ids. Select a the name for an output file (does not need to exist). Press the Mapping button to map the expected field to the field in the file. Press Start to start the lookup. Any errors or exceptions are displayed in the text box.
