IDLookup takes a list of people and attempts to look them up in Raiser's Edge. You can map various fields for looking up. These include first name or initial, last name, organisation name (it removes punctuation and words like "and", "inc.", etc and can check alias fields too), first line of address (it can recognise address type equivalents e.g. road, rd or rd.), zip code, email address. Just as with the RE import module you can map your file to the plug-in's standard naming convention and save this as a template for future use. This application captures changes made on the Bio1 and some of Bio2 tabs of the constituent record (essentially anything that resides in the Records database table), preferred addresses and phone numbers. It will give you the field value before and after the change, the user that made the change, the date the change was made and the name of the field it was changed on. It also tracks any deleted records or phones. Since it only tracks the preferred address it does not audit a deletion of the preferred address (this cannot by definition be done!) The accompanying audit viewer allows you see the changes that have been made over a period of time and filter them based on all the fields mentioned previously.
