David is an experienced software developer and business analyst. Over the last 12 years, David has assisted charities in the UK, US, Canada and Australia. He founded ZD to enable fundraising organizations to customize software – including The Raiser’s Edge and Blackbaud CRM – to meet their specific needs. David and his team then provide ongoing maintenance to ensure continued and seamless integration with customized applications.
An expert in the charity technology sector, David is also an accomplished speaker and blogger, having presented at Blackbaud conferences and fundraising seminars. He is a volunteer for the Institute of Fundraising Technology Group where he takes an active role as the Conference Chair and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for IT. David has lived and worked in London, the USA and Sweden.
