Overview

If a cash gift of over £1000 is given then we want to ensure that the gift also has the major donor letter code on it. Note that for this rule we do not need a rule for the gift type as this is a filter on the gift amount rule.

1	Create the rule: Record has “Major Donor Thank You” letter code
2	Add the criteria
3	Create the rule: If cash gift is over £1000 ensure Major Donor Letter code is set. Note the use of the gift type filter so that it only looks at cash gifts.
4	Add the criteria
5	Add the dependencies
6	Add Realtime Validation and process. You should then have enabled this rule.
