In order to use Importacular NXT, users will need to been assigned an ‘Extensibility’ role from within Raiser’s Edge NXT’s Security settings.

The Extensibility setting was introduced by Blackbaud as a security measure to be able to allow organisations to choose who has access to their NXT Data Integration API, which Importacular NXT uses. Please note: If you were previously an environment admin, the new Extensibility permissions are automatically assigned for you.

To create the Extensibility role and assign permission to users, in Raiser’s Edge NXT, navigate to Control Panel, Security to access Security roles and User management.
